In any case, each summer the crap we deal with in Frankford just seeps into all the surrounding areas and Northwood is the last "decent" area left that's close to Frankford (other than Mayfair) and the signs are there, which is why Northwood residents are smart to adopt a "No Tolerance" policy on any more of the disease.
Just walking around Northwood Park and the Rec Center sends radar up because it's not going to take to much for these scavangers to realize that there just isn't anything left to destroy, steal or vandalize in Frankford and will move in to more lucrative pickings.
You said a mouthfull, Dragonfly.

Joely, beautiful homes don't make a dang difference if you have all that crime in your area. It doesn't matter what they have or how it is taken care of. Look at every single neighborhood who had beautiful homes at one time that now is ghetto. If your life is threatened, and to tell you the truth it is in Frankford every single day you'll still move out.

No sticking in there. No giving it a chance. People in that apartment building already have mentioned moving.

That side of Oxford Ave. all the way to Roosevelt Blvd. is considered Northwood, but not within the boundries serviced by the Northwood Civic Association according to their by-laws.

I don't believe there is a civic association servicing that side of Oxford to the boulevard down to Frankford Ave. and that's a shame because there are alot of nice homes in that area. Many selling for more that what a row in Northwood goes for.
