Default -Plane Crash

It was on a Good Friday around 8pm I do believe in 1978 as I was still in high School...I saw the explosion as the plane hit the electrical wires..We thought it was "THE END" as it was Good Friday....I was standing at Wellington St. and Rowland Ave and still saw the massive explosion....WOW what a weird but accurate memory...

I don't have much sypathy for people who crash these private planes.Maybe I'm just jealous. But I feel the same way about people who go mountain climbing and snowboarding in these crazy locations - then get lost or caught in an avalanche and we have to pay for rescue people (who risk THEIR lives), to save the "extreme sportsters."If anyone ever damages my home with their private plane, I'll pull them out of the cockpit and kick them in the gonads.

There are anywhere between 0 to 4 private plane mishaps per day (source: NTSB).

The memorable ones make the national news.

My sport is skydiving. I'm used to people blowing up skydiving accidents and mishaps on the news constantly. Last year Skydive Crosskeys NJ suffered an unfortunate spike in incidents, but hopefully this next skydiving season will be uneventful. One of my girls in TX is gonna be in Nationals this year, and her freeflying is good enough she could do the Olympics if they'd ever allow parachuting into the Games. Oooo skydiving in the Philadelphia summer olympics... that would be awesome.

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA:

In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking
Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk
