It wouldn't be to hard to check a map would it? Those area's are obviously not North Philadelphia.

I spoke to a sergeant from the 2nd and she said it most definitely was not a cop that was shot. It was a drug related shooting.

That's what I would have guessed. It's a relief in a way. It seems most people who get shot anywhere in Philadelphia were involved in something that brought it on.

Exactly...sadly some recent shootings have been of witnesses. That will affect cases for years to come.

Another home invasion last night. More like an apartment invasion.

I saw the name FRANKFORD under the news person's name. I heard them say in Oxford Circle, and heard a person who was interviewed say Northwood.

Who the heck would talk on the news after something like that? Plus imagine the person in the apartment next door when they start shooting. Crazy.

But Northwood is nice? That's what all the people who just moved there say! (hehe)

When I came accross that in the Northeast times, I clipped it out and the next morning told the Crossing Gaurd about this incident, well she tells me that it was a lovers quarel??lol..There are so many crimes like this happening that there are getting confused with ones that happenned the same night or so..I actually live just about right around the corner from where this had happened,,I am really freaked about all these things happening..I have been in this house for 2 and half months now,,and ya know I havent even un-packed yet..I had no clue it was like this,,and from what I can tell and what I have researched it seems to just keep getting worse with each passing day not Year!! I just want out of this lease so bad,,this was not a good choice for a family coming from Upper Merion..I just wanted to rent a qauint little home for one yr , since I am moving back to Florida in jan 2007 so that I can be closer to my MIL that lives in Northern Liberties..This was my first time renting since I was like 17,,I always owned every home I lived in, so when the Landlord told me that this was a great neighborhood,,he was lying to me,,and I am just as stupid as him for believeing him..I can`t say one nice thing about living here for the last 2 months..I have a really ignorant neighbor,,which I have to share a step with..She actaully kicked out the 2nd step and totally demolished it(My husband caught her) and now she is expecting my landlord to pay for it..Now her son and all his friends as we speak are running up and down my lawn, instead of hers..There is alreay a bald spot where they keep on walking on up it..So I just went out and put something there.,so now they just walk around it it and now There will be grass missing from another spot,cant win..lol.Every house I have ever lived in I have always planted flowers by now,,in this house forget it,,these kids that visit a next store will just trash them,,I know it!!..My point being,,even these little things are driving me nuts right now with all the worries I have apon me with all the crime right now!! I don`t even think there is a Townwatch here,,I know I wont be here for long but if there were a townwatch i would definetly work with them to try to make this a better place for the children that won`t be moving..
