Default Lawncrest Townwatch!

Anyone on here live in Lawncrest? Townwatch needs new members! The general boundaries of Lawncrest go from Adams ave. to Tyson. And from the Railroad tracks to the Naval Depot and Oxford ave. Townwatch needs new volunteers. If you are interested in joining or need more information just ask or email me for more information. Just this past weekend I assisted police in apprehending a male who had robbed a female on the 300 block of Sanger on Friday night and robbed a female on the 400 block of Sentner on Sat. night. Please consider joining. Thank you.

Thanks for posting. Those borders you mentioned were "general." What about the area just west of Oxford north of Magee where all the stone front houses are? Most call that Lawndale too.

Those borders were referring to Townwatch. And yes the section north of Magee West of Oxford is included. Like I mentioned before.. Tyson to Adams is one border and the other is the tracks to Oxford except where the Naval depot comes in..

My mistake, I meant to say just east of Oxford, like the 700-900 blocks.

Thats what i thot you meant. It may be considered lawndale.. but we don't cover that area. If we got "a few" members from that area I'm sure we would consider extending our boundaries. But for right now our area is pretty big as it is. .. .. .. .. .. .. So . .. .. .. .. No one wants to join? Or do we not have any Lawncrest neighbors on this board? Who lives within the borders I mentioned earlier?

There is alot of crime and mischief going on in Lawncrest that Townwatch members can help police stop. As a Townwatch member, you never get directly involved in anything. You just observe and report. There are many many times that we have 'prevented' crimes by calling 911 in time. And other times we have spotted suspects of crimes and when arrested they were positively ID'd and prosecuted. We need to keep this a safe community but cannot do it without many more Lawncrestians (is that a word?) help. So please consider being involved. It could be as little as 1-2 hours per month or every weekend, every other weekend or twice per week. Your choice. Consider it, it does make a difference.

No idea, to my knowledge, Lawncrest includes Lawndale and Cresentville.
