Never tried Chink's. I will some time. Wanna check out Steve's first, though.

Be sure to get "american" at Steve's...it's fondu style and the best part about Steve's for me. They use the same melted american for the cheese fries!!! MM!

What the heck kind of Taconyite were you for heaven's sake, IMPAQ? No Chink's when you were right in the neighborhood?

Hope all is well in Virginia with you, and your wife.

I was a rather proud Taconyite, one of the few to be proud to live in Tacony.

Anyways, nope never tried it. Wish I did. Next time, homie. Next time.

All is well in VA. I'm missing Philly like a mofo, but trying to embrace the new city. No sense of pride here amongst the people like there is in Philly, though, so... it's all foreign to me.

Smile Taste Of Philly

If you are missing some of the Philly goodies, check out this website.
Only thing is that I don't think that Cheese Steaks are included.

Chink's is overrated. They are just about one notch above typical corner pizza place steaks. Not in the league of Steve's, Jim's, or Frusco's.

we went to Fruscos last night and it was ok. Not even close to Steves. Very bland as compared to the prince of steaks. The Sarconnes rolls were very good tho

Really? I think Chink's steaks are great. That's the thing though that seperates Steve's from all of them. Chink's or Frusco's sandwiches may vary slightly, but like them or not, Steve's are amazingly consistent.

There is nothing better at 2 a.m. than a Steve's "Provolone With", an order of fries, a little cup of those sliced pickles, and a large cherry soda. It's been a mainstay of my diet since I could ride a bike to the shop.
