Spring? What's spring? I loved spring when we used to have it.

Things I like about spring:
Having my house windows open
Playing hookey at work & taking off to Washington's Crossing
Sitting on the deck at Bridget Foys on South Street
Drinking ice cold corona at Rock Lobster on the waterfront
Riding my bike
Hitting balls at the driving range
Buying a new bathing suit (Ahhhh....no I HATE that one!!)

Might as well lock yourself in the bathroom, and run a hot bath with that candle. Don't forget some bubbles too because it was like 40 degrees when I left this morning.

I don't like this extra hour of light when it's still cold. All these trees are bursting out though. Plus proms, proms, proms. I have been to enough high end dress stores to work for Vogue.

You enjoy your candle, MC.

You can hit my house with the residents of Mayfair. I have two years of this.

Plus have you seen the new "FIESTA CONFETTI" colors of these dresses? I feel like I'm going to carnival. Oh, and then of course "Wah, wah the size three is too small". If these girls aren't an ought they think they're heavy.

Yes. I LOVE prom time too. Not to mention my prayers at night saying "Dear Lord please don't let this boy or his buddies have a license yet. I promise to pay for a limo to, and from".

How did our parents ever allow the zany goings on of post-prom? I know I was being a bad girl. LOL Nah. It's great times for teens.

Smile Today was a pretty nice day

Although it was a bit cool at least the sun was shining. Bought some flowers today at the Farmers Market at Cottman and Bustleton. They had a nice selection. Just needed to smell the Hyacinth, the white are the most fragrant.

Default Flowers

There are the 3, Hyacinth, Lilacs & Lily of the valley. I think my fav would be Lilacs. Had a huge lilac bush in my yard growing up. People would walk by and ask for clippings all of the time. Very sad, my father had it removed several years ago. It was half dead. And any of the flowers that bloomed really were not very colorful or fragrant like they had been. I think it just needed some fertizizer. I was upset after it was gone. But every year since some of it is actually growing back in the spot. But I will be probably long gone by the time it will ever be as big as it was. And I think it takes years before they actually bloom.

Azaleas (sic) anyone? They are a beautiful back drop for prom photographs.

I have a flower problem. We do impatiens. We also have the white stones for ornamentation. After the first year we just got more, and piled them on the others to fill in space. Then the same next year.

Basically now it's more stones than soil, and getting those babies to grow in rocks is impossible. I guess I have to take ALL of them out, and get new soil, and start over.
