It's a shame your friend isn't visiting in April. April 1st Eastern State Penitentiary starts it's tours again, that's a really cool tour. Then maybe lunch at Tavern on Green or Rembrandt's.
Don't forget South Street - at least between Front and Sixth. There is a great Thai Restaurant on South Street just below Front Street - 117 South Street called Tamarind - Great! For great pizza - La Forno's on South Street has brick oven pizza that is out of this world!
And, don't forget this weekend weather is going to be fantastic - Kelly Drive around Boathouse Row for a nice walk is great! Take a picnic lunch.
