During this time that I was "poor," my "nice set o' wheels" consisted of the 1-bus and Market-Frankford line. Since last summer, I've obtained my college degree, paid off debt, and landed a nice job. The only reason I've held onto this apartment for as long as I did, was to complete the lease and establish good rental history.
Yeah tell me about it, Bucks County has some ghetto pockets too. I used to live in Fergusonville, a section of Bristol Township, years ago as a toddler and that area has done nothing but gotten trashier and the public schools worse(yes it's nearby the infamous Croydon!). Without specifying exactly where I'm moving, I chose a town that is nicer/quieter than Bristol/Croydon.

Oh that 1 bus. Bless you. It only runs like once an hour too doesn't it? No wonder you're thrilled with your car.
We have my grandmom's house for sale right now in Bristol. It's right behind the police station on Bath Road. My grands were the original owners. Last year my grands were over on Mill Street which is supposedly a nice section for shopping, and what not. They went to that theater there, and then ate in a nice place. Out in the parking lot two kids hit my grandmom in the head with a heavy brick, and knocked my grandpop on his arse all 105 pounds of him. They robbed him of his wallett, and ripped my grandmom's jewelry from her neck and fingers while she lay bleeding. Luckily people were coming into the parking lot, and had a cell. My grandmom wound up in Lower Bucks Hospital getting thirty some stitches in her head, and kept three days for observation.
I see you said you're not going there. I guess anywhere can be dangerous as the nurses told my grandmom she was like the third victim that came in with the same brick to the head injury and all were elderly.
