Having an address that includes "Roosevelt Blvd" in it doesn't help either, considering that Roosevelt Blvd is a traffic-heavy highway and home to two of the most dangerous traffic intersections in the country(Grant/Roosevelt and Red Lion/Roosevelt). Neither do my zipcode's(19124) statistics for car theft in recent years. As far as the guy with the sportscars, he did not mention his age, driving/accident record, or how good his credit is; all these factors could explain his lowered rate. By the way, how much does credit score affect insurance rates? Progressive did a "soft inquiry" on my credit when giving me a quote. Until I purchased my new car's financing, I didn't have much credit established and I wonder if that could be another factor to explain my high rates.

Credit score can allow an insurance company to deny you coverage these days!
