Default Welsh Road and the Blvd

Anyone here know the name of the neighborhood on Welsh and the Blvd? I've recently been assigned to work there. Someone in my family asked me where I am working now ( I was in NE regional before this) and I had to say "In the Northeast."

Thank you!
Amy

That's funny but I just met someone this week who lives in that area and he didn't know what the neighborhood was called, either. He simply said it was "Welsh and the Blvd."

I would say it's Bustleton on the west side of the Blvd.

and Torresdale on the east side

On the east side of the Blvd. south of Welsh road in that area, we always referred to that area as Holme Circle. It's basically St. Jerome's parish.

Welsh and the Bvld may actually be in BVM parrish; the dividing line between them and St. Jeromes is somewhere in those looping backstreets. I grew up around there, closer to Holme Cirlce, and we never knew what to call it. It does appear to be called Bustleton though.

Just say "Welsh and the Boulevard"

like South Philly...some parts don't have common names..(they may have an official name but people just use the intersection)...they are just Northeast.

The Boulevard is such a divider in the NE....is there a single neighborhood that spans it?
