A guess...

When the lower NE (Frankford, Olney..etc) started to dramatically shift to "suck" many people fled north...about 15 years ago...right about the age of most of these delinquents. Bensalem looks the same...and is right next door.

As for the crime - exactly. Nothing serious like robbery. Not even really burglary from my experience in the area so far.
But some trash who start fights who you need to call the cops on from time to time.

I moved from Frankford so it was a drastic improvement.
(I live in Brookhaven, the opposite side of FKD Ave. compared to Morrell.)
