Default Your Tax Dollars Being Urinated Away....

This would be a great place to post just the tip of the iceberg for municipal waste. Maybe we could afford more police protection if some of this crap stopped. For instance:
MAY 31st, many white collar Municipal Workers will get the day off to go to Phillies Business Persons Outing - on our tax dollars - with discounted tickets.
Pretty damned nice of us, after all, half these nit wits don't do a damned thing when their sitting their rear ends at their desks all day anyway.
Meanwhile, the crime, drugs, murder, burglary, rape, robbery, vandalsm and more just continue to run out of control.
This is just one example of our tax dollars being used to spit in our faces.
So, while you're working your A$# off at work to pay those tax dollars, these idiots will be enjoying a nice Phillies Game!
Care to share any more stories of waste coming our way?

Atop the fact that none of Northeast Philadelphia's state legislators gave back their illegal pay increases after last summer's illegal payraise was revoked in November of last year, the Philadelphia Inquirer just ran a story today (Feb 6, 2006) about the big state legislators' conference they attended up in Seattle, Washington at our expense not very long ago.

But you know what? That's easy, listing all the many ways our tax dollars are getting squandered away.

For the big challenge of course -- and I'm finding this more and more difficult with each passing day -- is figuring out where any of Northeast Philly's taxdollars are not being fully wasted. Not that this hasn't all happened before, of course, and here in Philadelphia of all places. And the last time it happened here, er, if I know my history correctly, it preceded a war.

While I have no personal beef with rendering unto Caesar that which is Caesar's -- so long as Caesar provides us with what he's getting paid to -- it becomes a whole other case entirely when he has us forking over to him that which is God's. Which is exactly what it is when we're forced to pay him either for services not rendered or that will downgrade our quality of life and whatever else all the more, the latter being a clearcut case of double-taxation.

But let it be noted that if our politicians care about nothing else, they do care about getting our money. See, we can go public here and say all these nasty things about how when we called their offices, or the Philadelphia police or whatever, nothing was ever done, and rest assured it won't phase them in the least. But when we start talking about withholding taxes until they clean up their act, ah, there we suddenly have them. But, as it was for the Founding Fathers, to get out of paying them the taxes we shouldn't be until they clean up their act, it might take a little war, and I do mean that literally. Or, we could pass up that option and just go on with business-as-usual, in which case it will be just like living in the middle of a war, going by the stories I'm hearing coming out of Mayfair, Frankford and so on...
