Anyone know whats going on at Rhawnhurst Playground...I find it strange they tore up the new playground that was there!

They are constructing a indoor basketball court and other buildings for seniors and a weight room.

How about the school yard at J. Hampton Moore Elementary School at Longshore & Algon? They have that all torn up and it looks like a building foundation is going in.

Its weird though that they tore both playgrounds out but not the original crappy building. I do think an indoor basketball court will be great, though I wish up there they would have undercover cops checking out the losers hanging out at the outside courts, nothing but drugs going on up there in the evenings.

They are probably keeping the old crappy building until a new one is built, then they will demolish the old one.
