I think this too. And, now that the Grey Lodge is so close and so cool, why bother? Hey Scoats, now that winter is on us, will you have soup on the menu?

Yep, I know the play area. The dog and I go up there to play tug-o-war and catch.

Other than that, I often go down there, park, and quietly watch the river, feed the birds, do some people-watching, clear my mind -- or just chill. That is, of course, provided there aren't a bunch of drunks down there tossing their empties about the ground. If they are there, I head out of that area and off to the higher ground, just down the street and park. There are some nice benches over there, and late in the evening, it's perfect for sitting there, just listening, with the water lapping about the shoreline. Romantic, fairly clean air, and quiet for the most part.
