My neighbors got me a few tickets. Confronted the neighbors and left unreturned messages to the landlord. But the trash continued to pile-up on no-trash days. I started working with the Streets department and they issued a few tickets to the landlord of the building who was causing the problem and educated them a bit, too. Hasn't been a problem since.

so the poster's master plan was to move to Philly, leave his trash out until he got ticketed, and than complain about it on Phillyblog. Is that what you think? You sound like the type of bitter old busybody who steal balls from playing children, ostensibly because they are making too much noise, or playing in *you're* street, but in actuality it's because you can't stand the sound of children's laughter.

I'm bringing this up again because someone put another trashbag in front of my house this morning and since it rained before they put it (they did not seal the bag), it was such a hassle to clean up this morning that I was actually late to work today.
This has happened 3 or 4 times after I first posted and I really did not bother before because I would just pick up the bag and put it on my trashcan and be done with it in less than a minute but this is getting ridiculous. Can anybody help me on how to stop this? I was thinking of a) getting a webcam to try to see who is doing this, and b) filing a police report for vandalism, but I don't know if anything would help. |
