This happened in West Oak Lane, I used to go the elemetary school across the street from the owner's store. This one stretch of Washington Lane has always had problems with young guys and bad behavior.

The thing that really kills me about the criminal mentality is that they don't think before they act. Like is robbing 7Eleven's and diner's really that lucrative? Or even banks. This is what happens when your trying to make fast money, you end up dead or slowly rotting in a cell. I hope more business owners take this as a lesson and get strapped.

Yeah I agree. Hopefully others will learn from this example: go to school, graduate, get a f*cking job and get your own.

It will take more then this one incident to convince the criminal element that they might be next.

Is that Pennypacker? I work in that neighborhood and that's why I have posted before that Dwight Evans' WOL miracle is overstated. It's definitely not the worst neighborhood in the city, but a spiffy new Ogaontz Ave doesn't make up for the schools and the crime.

Yes that's the school. Overall WOL is a pretty safe neighborhood. Like i said that strip of Washington Lane and Ogontz Ave. between 80th and 76th ave. are pretty shady. The WOl miracle is pretty much around 72nd and Ogontz and yes alot has been done on that strip and in the surrounding area but I think a whole lot more can be done.
