I know you're trying to be cute, but this is the truth; as it should be. A vibrant, safe center city is what is drawing people from all over to the city, and from there they explore the other great parts of the city. Can't the Original Poster delete this thread (and start a new one, if you want)/change the topic title? |

Notice the last line of my first post. We care more or less about shootings depending of where they're located and who the victims are. I'll be the first to admit I'm relieved this didn't happen in Center City (although it's still not clear). I still think the fact that this shooting happened is upsetting.

In defense of JillyS, the first paragraph is worded to sound like the shooting happened in Center City Philly. It's not her fault that the story is such a piece of trash. Additionally, the accompanying video shows multiple shots of Ruby Tuesday. The media intentionally wanted to convey that this shooting happened in Center City, true or not.

The title's been changed. Everyone feel better now?
Am I "off the hook" for being a "moron"? Tough crowd in Center City today.

I know you didn't do it, but thanks all the same. This whole off the hook nonsense is silly and you're certaintly not a moron.
