Default Older development just north of Temple

Does anyone know the story of the 2-story simple rows built north of Temple--looks like 1980's or so? They fill the blocks between 11th and 13th, Diamond and Susquehanna and have off street parking. They are laid out like garden apatments but my guess is that they are 2-story homes.

The development between 12th Street & 13th Street, Susquehanna to Diamond is People's Village, single family dwellings. I believe the residents are homeowners.

The development between 12th Street & 11th Street, Susquehanna to Diamond is Nelson Brown Homes, single family dwellings. I believe the residents are tenants.

Contact the office of State Senator Shirley Kitchen. She can give you whatever information you want concerning the history of both developments since she was an original resident.
