You did read where it said it was a five block walk to downtown? There's an interesting article in this week's city paper about north philly station. As I've stated, I think part of the solution is restoring access to the NEC but it will take an orchestrated effort to get transit oriented development, interest, and safety. as the article mentions, a lot of it's timing.

If Mumia does get executed, there will be no riots. 99% of AA people I have discussed Mumia with believes he did shoot Officer Faulkner, shrug, and have a "cant do the time...dont do the crime" opinion of the incident.
