Default Ribbon Cutting ......

Yesterday, I attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Walter D. Palmer Leaderership Learning Partners Charter School at 6th and Poplar, and I must say..it was a very special event.

To see a new school erected from the ground up.....kids and their parents all in attendance.....Lynn Abrams, Councilman Clarke, and many, many important people in the audience supporting, paying homage, and to say "thank you" to Dr. Palmer for his activism and charatable work throughout the years with children and the disenfranchized (sp)....this was truely an event that should havemade the front of every paper in the city.....

It was just refreshing........congrats Dr. Palmer for a job well done....
