Default Who are you?

Hi! This is Cheri Padulese, Nicky's sister. Who are you? Do I know you? If so, how've you been?

I also know Nicky Padulese and family. It's been a long time since I seen Nicky. I heard he was doing tattoos in Bristol, PA I don't believe I have seen him since POP's on Rhwan & Frankford.

Default Inky Yard

I didn't hang at "The Yard" but I was "permitted" to walk past because I worked at Millers Prime Meats in the late seventies and early eighties and I knew Big george and his mother as they were customers and friends of Bill Miller. I knew alot of the people in that neighborhood and on more than one occasion when I walked the backway to Millers from Olney High I saw the guys from " The Yard" enforcing the rules of the neighborhood.

Last I heard George was back "in," but that was a few years ago.

How many of you Inky Boys still have olive drab army field jackets? I seriously want to know, being that old habits die hard.

What was the name of the Army-Navy on 5th st? They went out of business as the gang fled the area.

Someone should seriously write a book. This forum brings back many fond memories of the neighborhood, and some bad ones.

What were the true circumstances of Fuzz's (I think that was his nickname) death? I heard that he was attacked by as many as 50 Puerto Ricans below the Blvd. I never got the full story. I knew his sister. It was a sad thing.

Default Fuzz

I am not really sure how that happened. I will have to call my brother and find out. Although he's been out of the neighborhood for sometime, he still seems to know how things happen/ed LOL

Last I heard about Patricks, he owned a coffee shop? LOL I kinda thought that was weird but whatever.

I am so going to write a book!

Anyone have any ideas for a title?

Default George

Padulese, I did see GP about six months ago. I don't know anything about a coffee shop. He was doing roofing when I talked to him and lives in NE philly. I don't think he'll be going back "In" he is trying to stay out of trouble. Do you remember my friends Jim and Brian Dougherty from 5th and Rockland?

I don't know who you are therefore, I don't know your friends! LOL just kidding,
I probably know them, but probably by face more then by name. I would like to get in contact with GP. Any idea how I could do that?
