Default anyone remember that insult clown on the wildwood boardwalk???

he was in the dunk tank in the 80's thru the early 90's? i beleive the dunk tank was on morey' pier, then moved to hunts pier?
anyway, he would say things like "where's all the ballplayers?" and pepper the crowd with insults? he would draw such a crowd, you could kill hours on the boardwalk listening to that guy....what great memories.

It was Hunt's pier where I saw him.

My favorite was "hey you with the bald head....... Are you one of those guys who shaves his head bald, so you don't look like you're a bald guy?"

That guy was the Don Rickles of Wildwood.

He might still be there, more then likely not the same guy or location but just as crass and demeaning...I'll get back to you on it over the weekend.....with pics if he's still there.

Yes, I remember that guy. Me and my girlfriends went to Wildwood for a weekend. My girlfriends are on the heavy side and he said "What is this a circus?" My girlfriends were mad. I couldn't help snickering because it was funny. After a few minutes they were okay because he was messing with EVERYBODY, and they started laughing too.

I go to a county fair every year, and they have a dunk clown. It's the biggest attraction on the Midway. As you said, you can eat up a lot of time just watching the show of this guy insulting any one and every one.

Default exactly.....

that guy would rip everyone. the exact guy/clown i am talking about was, like i said, there in the mid 80's-90's something...had this real snickery laugh, sounded something like "hya-hya-hya". he would call guys who were ripped "poster children for steroids"....say to some italian guy "ohhh salimino...another stupid looking guido"....make fun of the fatties. then after he got dunked a couple times, he would leave the tank for a smoke, and that would usually break up the crowd.

anyone else with a recollection feel free to comment. cracks me the f up.

There's a dunk tank on the boardwalk between 23rd and 24th, wasn't open around 9pm Thursday night. I'll see what the weekend brings, the guys voice will be very easy to distinguish if he's still there.

Default yup, remember him

That guy in the tank was on the first pier, right in front of the go karts. I haven't been to wildwood on vacation for 6 years, but that guy was hysterical.
