Default Quickest way to Cape May by transit?

I'm trying to find the quickest way to Cape May, NJ by bus or train from Philly. All of the routes I found are take 3 hrs or more to get there! I just wonder if I am overlooking a better route?

It takes two hours by car. Three hours by bus, with numerous stops, seems best case.

there's an express bus that runs during the summer months that cuts the trip by about an hour but otherwise, yes, 3:15 minutes on that local bus is brutal.

The 317 that runs from Philly to Asbury Park takes even longer. I did that once. And once was enough.

The express bus schedule from the Greyhound terminal has just gone into effect.
