I don't know about the Wharf, but the Keenans\2st Annies deal is all done, and is now just one big, almost block long Keenans. Still not serving Yuengling, I guess when they are big as they are, they don't need to serve it, they can get away with all of the other watered downs they serve.

yeah, the owner and his father were both in local 98, so when Dick Yuengling got rid of the Union, a few bars got rid of his beer.

I heard that 2nd Street Annie's will now be Angry Jack's. My understanding is they will remain two separate bars both owened by Keenan's.

As far as the Wharf goes I think it is supposed to reopen this week or next. The original opening date has been delayed from what I understand. I think it was supposed to open last week.

According to a recent e-mail, the Wharf will be opening for the season this Thursday, May 15th. To the best of my knowledge, instead of one large Keenan's, they are keeping the areas as separate distinct bars with different names, but accessible to one another. The outside area of Keenan's and the inside of what was Annies will have bands. The inside of Keenan's will have a dj as will the inside of the old Annies when a band is not playing.

Keenans Pub bought 2nd Street Annies. There will be 2 bars, one called: Angry Jack's and Husky McClosky's. They will be opened by Memorial Day Weekend.

The Wharf is alive and well (atleast for another season). Plan on spending quite abit of time there this summer. Very relaxing, good crowd and it's right on the water.
