Going somewhere at 5 a.m. is fun? We sometimes got up early enough to ride our bikes on the boardwalk, but that was pushing it. I think I'm going to have to schedule a day trip...I'm feeling nostalgic...

Default Ice Cream Places...

I really miss the French Quarter. They closed a few years back and were replaced by a (what else) condo. Haskells (sp?) is pretty good though.

Oh yeah...my kids loved to do that. I always took pictures too. Dang, kids grow up way too fast!

That's my favorite time of the day to spend on the beach. The lifeguards leave, everybody else goes home to shower and get dinner, and things quiet down. Love to just sit and gaze out on the ocean, and watch the sandpipers run along the edge of the water. Can you tell I LOVE the shore?

My bags are packed aand at the door. I can't wait to cross that bridge and smell the salt air or take an early morning walk on the baords down the beach with a hot cup of coffee. All before the kids or man wake up. And the sounds of the gulls as you lay in bed and try to wake up slowly
