I may be a little late in posting this but, you have to try the ISLAND GRILL. I believe it is at first and atlantic. The place has a great menu that is pretty resonable, they also have a menu of game meat items that is changing constantly. Depending on when you are there you can get anything from wild boar to kangaroo. It sounds strange but I have tried most of the game meat items and they were all excellent.
Another restaurant I would try, if you like mexican is the Kactus Cafe. There is a shop on the boardwalk, but an even better sit down restaurant in somers point on route nine about ten minutes from ocean city. |

Just wanted to write a quick follow-up and thank you. Here are the places we loved: Mack and Manco's Pizza, Ike's Crabcakes, Shriver's Taffy and the new Shriver's Gelato joint (all these places are on the boardwalk), Aunt Annie's Ice Cream (at 21st and Central), the pancake house (also at 21st and Central), and the Shell Museum. The adults each had a date night (with drinks!) at the Crab Shack (much fancier than it sounds!) in Somers Point.
Now, we went to Island Grill but were underwhelmed. In retrospect, we just ordered wrong. The owner/operators clearly are very interested in game, and I bet the boar is delicious. But the seafood was bland. We'll try it next year once we've had our fill of fish. |

I think I have to make an apology, I am really into trying new foods so the game meats are really appealling to me. My wife doesn't reallly eat seafood beyond shrimp. I hope you will try the game I doubt you will be disappointed. I thought the kangaroo was tremendous.
