I'd never endorse bombing. It's a bad thing.

On the other hand, Ayers did his thing in -- when? the late 60s, early 70s? -- when the U.S. government was dumping more high explosives on the Vietnamese than it dropped on the Axis powers. It had no moral authority to point fingers at Ayers, and those now in power are the defenders of U.S. actions then.

I did a quick search and it seams to add up. It's only crap if you read it and believe it without doing do diligence. I'm no reporter, nor do I have the time, so I didn't go nuts on the research, but I did check.

It's only slander if it's false.
I believe it's due diligence. I'm not one to correct spelling but that one is damn funny.

Did you even read the article? The only way you could read this article and come to the conclusion that Obama was being advised by a modern day mad bomber is if you were so slanted against a guy or a party that no matter what you will come to the same conclusion.

Here is a quote.

Quote:
"Mr. Ayers is a 60-plus-year-old individual who lives in my neighborhood, who did something that I deplore 40 years ago when I was 6 or 7 years old," Obama said then. "By the time I met him, he is a professor of education at the University of Illinois. We served on a board together that had Republicans, bankers, lawyers, focused on education."

I stand corrected. Was typing to fast and not thinking. That could get anyone in trouble.

Read my sentence after the quote. I said the part that did not seam to hold water was the one that "he sat on a board full of left wing radicals" when in fact it was a mix of bank presidents, professors etc... He was advised at Ayers home for a fund raiser. Here is another quote from the article
"
Obama also was the first chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, a school reform group of which Ayers was a founder. Ayers also held a meet-the-candidate event at his home for Obama when Obama first ran for office in the mid-1990s.
"Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, 'Respectable' and 'Mainstream,'" the ad states. "Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home."
