I agree with a woman's right to choose. However the president nor the vice president have the power to overturn Roe v. Wade,

Do you believe they would criminalize the 5 million women each year who make this heart wrenching decision? Could you imagine the logistical nightmare to law enforcement, the courts, the probation departments, and the prisons?

Congress hasn't come up with a way to handle the 13 million illegal immigrants we have here.
Imagine them resolving the criminalization of 5 million women annually, not a one time 13 million problem, but one that keeps repeating itself year after year after year.

The threat that anyone will overturn Roe v. Wade garners votes for the fear mongers.

I, for one refuse to live in fear. Bush used it to get the Patriot Act at the loss of constitutional freedoms, to attack Iraq when there were no WMD's and for every resolution he wanted from Congress.
FEAR got him into office and kept him there for eight years.
We had orange, yellow, purple and polka dotted alerts and according to Homeland Security we're supposed to believe those alerts prevented another 911. I may be naive but not stupid.
I long ago recognized them for what they were; triggers on Bush's gun that he pointed at the American people whenever he wanted something. Up went the polka dotted alert.

Back to the topic.
Yes there are those anti-abortionists who are radicals and some who can be quite voiceferous, but it ain't happening. Not if they elected the Pope and moved the Papal See to Washington.

Pro Choicers need to continue to speak up. Don't let others intimidate you into silence.
This is the way of letting the world know that 5 million women annually believe Roe v. Wade was, is and always will be the correct decision for all women.

How are babies born to impoverished families able to protect themselves better than embryos? Inside the uterus--the government cares...outside--you are on your own. I guess the lesson is, don't let poor people parent you? Those dumb babies should have known better.

Don't attempt to make sense out of anything tannhauser types. It only gives him/her another reason to spin and spew. He/she isn't interested in logic.

Are you suggesting that being raised poor is the equivalent to being murdered?

I'm not sure what kind of a household you grew up in, but while not ideal, being poor is far preferable to being murdered. That's why most folks see it as a tragedy when a child is killed whether they live in Society Hill or Brewerytown.

Maybe you don't?

Won't having the ability to select the Supreme Court part of the question?
