Default $1000 rebate to the rich

Obamas’s proposes to give $1000 rebate to those with an income of $150,000 or more is a contradiction of his original proposal to put higher taxes on the most affluent.
When you consider the average median income for 111 million taxpayers is under
$47,000.
Source US statistical abstract:
http://www.census.gov/compendia/stat...es/08s0684.pdf

those earning more than $150,000 according to this unbiased report
are $150,000 to ………………………... 359,500
from $200,000 to………………………… 132,500
from $250,000 and above…………… 169,900
to
Total benefiting from proposal……. 661,900 people out of 11,314,600 taxpayers.
He would be giving the 17% richest the money.

Once again he proves to be the candidate of change. Instead of taxing the most affluent he gives them more money.

McCain would make Bush's massive tax cuts for the rich permanent, giving the rich from tens of thousands to millions of dollars each, not just a paltry $1000.

For the record, tax cuts don't "give" anyone anything. They reduce the amount taken from people by the government.

Comrade, the government owns everything. We should be grateful that our beloved leaders permit us to share in any of it.

That's true. It doesn't change the above comparison of Obama and McCain though.

Question Huh?

Where do you get that this is a rebate for the rich? All I've heard is that it's a rebate for consumers.
