Syc - I'll bet if you do a new search . . . this reply was sent around the country. Maybe, google bialek and ombudsman.

But google him and you get 3,500 or so returns.

Hindsight is 20/20, whether you are speaking on your late mother's behalf, or if she said that after the fact.

Patients have to realize they are the employer, and the physician is an employee hired to perform specific services. You have to be your own best advocate, just as any employer must first look out for the best interests of the company, as a whole, before anything else.
