Here is a series of communications with one of those on-line poker sites that advertise they are giving away free money if you make a deposit. I have changed the name of the company so the links do not work & I didn't want to give them free advertisement
---------------------------------------------- From: cashier@ZZpoker.com 200% bonus on the first deposit you make Need some assistance? For cashier info, click (link). For customer support, click(link). In here were plenty of Pictures & other writing then all the way at the bottom is this in smaller writing: *Bonus terms and conditions apply. ------------------------------------------------------- My response To: cashier@ZZpoker.com Subject: deposit what are the bonus terms and conditions? --------------------------------------------------------- From:cashier@ZZpoker.com wrote: Thank you for contacting us. Regarding your information about your bonuses, I will provide you the link you can go and check the terms and conditions we have. http://www.ZZpoker.com/promotions/terms.asp If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're here for you! Sincerely, Team ZZ~ Deposit Center "To always be the Most Trusted" Cashier@ZZPoker. -------------------------------------------------------------- My Response I'm sorry but it reads quite complicated. Something about the bonus is not given directly into my account but is kept by you in your account of another name and if I want it I have to earn it? also: I have a limited time to earn the money or it is confiscated from this other account and I lose it? Further; this bonus will only be released in $5.00 increments by my winning at least 30 hands or more for each $5. that is to be released. Since I must make at least a $50 minimum deposit to earn $50 bonus I must win at least 300 hands of poker within the restricted time frame or the bonus is never given is taken out of the fake account. Is this right? How can something be free if I have to earn it? I'm confused, I think I read it wrong? Could you please explain it in simpler terms for me. thank you. ------------------------------ NO Response from them ----------------------------------------------- Summation This site recently was found to have a program that let certain players at the table see what other players had in their hands so rest assured if one of these on-line poker sites has a program that allows cheating they all do. -------------------------------------------------- Old adage applies: If it sounds too good to be true then it isn't another adage: Nothing in life is free Last edited by rgranter : 05-29-2008 at 03:27 AM. |
