Awesome!!!!

I wrote their city council a letter a year ago when I visited for the CONCACAF gold cup stating I will never go back while they BAN a type of food. Perhaps a lot of other people did the same. Sounds like I will have to book a flight to Chi town to see what tasty new entries they will come out with.

Take that Bloosum and Marianne!!!!

This quote is absolutely HILARIOUS!!

Mayor Richard Daley had called the ban the "silliest ordinance" the city council ever passed and said it made Chicago "the laughingstock of the nation."

Excellent.

Next time I'm in Chicago, I'll see if I can get some on my Chicago-style pizza.

I like PETA's comment

"Today, that compassionate decision was reversed in a secretive, rushed bow to special interests that benefit from the cruel treatment of animals. It goes against what the vast majority of Chicagoans believe in."

Yea and I bet most Chicagoans don't even know about a ducks biology. And I am sure PETA isn't telling them EVERYTHING either.

Wait.

Isn't PETA a special interest group too?

Of course they are, I just love debating animal rights activists and was trying to bait some in. PETA has "millions" of members but only TWO people (Bloosum and Marianne) have really tried preacheir their dribble on here. Seems odd. Most vegans and animal lovers on here seem to have common sense and aren't preaching bans all the time so they don't bite.

Basically, I was trolling for the hardcore PETA members because I find pointing out their contradictions to be the most fun debate of all on here.
