Many times I listen to ads proclaim; Buy This it comes with a lifetime guarantee. And of course when the product proves a dud you can't connect with the seller anymore. I wish the Legislature would enact a law whereby anyone advertising a lifetime guarantee must have an Equity Trust Account equal in money to the number of products sold. The account could be set up for a twenty or thirty year life and would be used to give back to buyers the proposed guaranteed money. Maybe then we'd once again get some truth in advertising.
