I do find the boisterously macho behavior of some straight men irritating ... you know, the kind that won't look at a woman's face because he is mesmerized by her breasts. Straight men can be very obnoxious, too.

My boss tells me her son discovered this song recently and it's become his instant favorite. He goes around shouting out the lyric in the middle:

"My name is Sue! How do you do! Now you're gonna die!"

I liked the song a lot when I was this kid's age too, and still do.

Careful there; he may simply decide to change it, as Leslie Hope did with his given name.

We all came to know him as Bob Hope.

(Of course, there may have been a secondary issue in Bob Hope's case: a story I recall hearing decades ago stated that young Leslie Hope would usually give his name last name first.)
