Alesis, do you think rich people always carry money in their pockets?
Of course rich people don't cry of $15 late fee but this is only beginning.
I have American Express Card (green one) and I never have problem with this card.

Bloosum, how can you complain about a late fee when you agreed to the fees before you started using the card? Read ALL the fine print on everything you sign.

You should write to Councilman Jack Kelly. I'm sure he'll be more than happy to ban credit card late fees.

Alesis, the reason why I used Sears Gold Master Card is because thing I ordered only took credit cards and didn't take personal check or money order.
If I order over $100,000 worth jewel or something, I need to use credit card but I am not interested in status symbol.
I love simple life.

P.S.
Alesis, just a case you don't know, everybody cannot be polite and brilliant like you are.

I love my Sears Gold Master Card. I buy all kinds of animal products. And I love going to a nice restaurant and ordering foie gras and then charging it to my Sears Gold Master card

LOL This thread is amusing. It's almost like we're starting our own little version of CreditBoards. You have not lived until you've read the "How to hide your car" thread on CB; for those unfortunate souls who are in repo. Learn to love living life without a car.

PS, PhillyCarShare doesn't care if you've been repoed... so you have another excuse to rid yourself of that car and take public transportation to work--of course you WILL have to have to pay PCS, unlike that bank you weren't paying who took your car.

Actually, I have two different kinds of American Express cards but I usually use green one.
What is so great about this card?
When I order something and if I am not 100% happy about the product, I let American Express to know. Shortly after, I get letter from American Express telling me "This dispute has been resolved in your favor."
This means there is no need for me to pay for product I used.
Another thing is I don't pay late fee like most of other credit cards.

Bloosum, may I suggest setting up an automatic payment each month to your credit card? That way, you will never get hit with a late fee. When you pay off the card each month, just subtract the automatic payment from your check amount to make sure you send in the exact payment.
