After checking out Colin P Varga's link to the story about Disabled Vets benefiting from using Segways and listening to Tannhauser's good advice about donating to charities that directly support those who have sacrificed for our country I recommend checking out this charity.

I want to do a little more due diligence but it seems it is run by an all volunteer staff and all donations go towards purchasing and providing training for Segways for disabled vets.

I don't mean anything about YOUR experience what exactly is YOUR experience that allows you to have such a strong opinion on the subject?

I don't really expect you to believe anything as you seem, and if I am wrong on this I apologize, to be rather closed minded on just about every subject.
I'm currently serving the country and grew up with my father career military, so I think I may know a little something about what PBS and other groups do for military families.
As is my long established policy, however, I will not give details as to my exact profession because I'd like to keep my identity private.

There's no comparison whatsoever between the support a Navy Marines Relief Society or Army Emergency Relief provides compared to PBS. I could probably name a dozen actual charities that actually do something measurable for Military families.
edit to remove last remark as is redundant due to above post.

You may want to double check with someone to see if you understand what's being debated before you dive in.
