We are proud to offer support to help military families as they face challenging transitions.

And which exact for profit TV show is going to produce programing like this and be able to distribute it free of charge both through free DVDs, iTunes, and streamed on the internet?

I support our troops, I support the CPB which supports PBS which supports The Children's Television Workshop.

You don't think giving money directly to military charities might be a more efficent way of showing your "support for the troops"?

As someone who has been and is in a military family, these gestures are utterly meaningless and generally unknown to the families. But if it makes you feel better about yourself, then I guess it's worth a few couple hundred million dollars.

Uh, that would be the sentiment of the current administration, not myself.

Maybe the problem with PBS is that it's so Gay: cooking shows, Barney, Teletubies, musicals/opera, Shakespeare, I Claudius, Are You Being Served, Roy Cohn, and don't forget Bert & Ernie.

As an actual veteran I beg to differ with your opinion.

I believe you mean my experience.

And your family told you that kind of garbage provided solace, service and education to them in your absence.
Really.
"Dad, it was tough when you were gone, but thank God for that fine programing and the solace, service and education channel 12 gave us. I don't know if we'd of made it through without it."
You can't possibly expect anyone to believe that.

I didn't intend to bring this to a personal level, but what exact branch of the Military did YOU serve your country by enlisting in?

If YOU are a Veteran who has served his country than you are entitled to have an opinion on whether or not this kind of programing is beneficial to your young children when/if YOU are deployed.

I don't mean anything about YOUR experience what exactly is YOUR experience that allows you to have such a strong opinion on the subject?

I don't really expect you to believe anything as you seem, and if I am wrong on this I apologize, to be rather closed minded on just about every subject.
