Default Use his own morals to convict him

Spitzer should be judged with the same adamant persistence and painted with the same brush he used on others.
He built his career by pushing down and stepping atop his victims specializing in not just the prosecution, but also the ruin, of other men by smearing their credibility whenever he could.
During the prosecution of one Call girl ring his media covered comments were filled with revulsion, anger and a highly moralistic tone.
He always portrayed himself as Mr. Clean while exposing other people's dirty linen.
As one commentator stated: His purpose in these prosecutions has not been one of punishing law-breakers, he has sought to make others abidei with his moral views as though he were a religious dictator.
In another example of his two faced morals; Spitzer vise-a-vi one of his hand-picked deputies used the New York State Police to gather information on his political opponents so he could leak a copy of the complaint to the press and other media, the circle has turned full cycle.
In this federal complaint the name of the prostitution ring "The Emperor’s Club" shows what the members of this club think of themselves, emperors and kings with the priviledge of entitlement holding contempt for the average citizen .
The federal complaint identified Spitzer, as Client 9 who paid $4,300 including the payment of the Call girl’s transportation across State lines for these encounters.
Even more revealing the complaint also states: the girl named LEWIS said: Spitzer would ask you to do things that you might think were unsafe.
One can only imagine what sexual activity this moralist would be requesting from a highly experienced call girl that she considered unsafe.
How long will it take the Justice Department to bring him to trial.

Excuse my ignorance, but what "dirty linen of business" did he expose?
