This isn't really a shock at all. Where do people think the stuff they flush goes?
A sex hormone was detected in the drinking water of San Francisco, California. Really, now? San Fran is just oozing sexuality, apparently.

I know the drugs they have found are in very small amounts, but I still find this disturbing!
From that first link that raider.adam posted, you can link to a page that shows you which drugs were found in each state. That was interesting.

It was in the parts per trillion, and it doesn't stay in our bodies, which is why it's found in the water supply. Doesn't anyone realize we're drinking dinosaur pee?

guess it doesn't help that big pharmaceutical companies are among us locally, and gosh knows how many old/stolen/binged pills end up in the toilet amongst other unmentionable things.........what a perfect world we would have if our water was as pure as volvic, if not for the name alone lol......well, not really........
apparantly, it's a false hope that you're protected from med. water just because you drink bottled water AND/or filtered water............  rob jennings didn't help it either last night as he dangled a small class of water gingerly on-air (for dramatic effect, I'm sure) while he reported to us how bad that water is........wonder if he drank it..........  this news can't benefit the bottled water industry IMO because in these reports, it clearly says they are not without risk, as many companies bottle without being subjected to some of the screening municipal water is mandated to go through......and many folks see through some of their promises and tactics claiming purity and pristine-ness in between frosty mountain peaks and glistening glaciers........ and unfortunately, I haven't heard of any home filtration system that specifically filters out "meds"...... .....I mean, who really benefits from "news" like this? Make the public scared or otherwise left in a "heard it all before" state of "whatever"..........so now what?  .....and I agree......isn't it all dinosaur pee? LOL......except now it's dino pee laced with prilosec and oxycontin.......
