Is there anything posted on PhillyBlog that people really think
that the government is reading and is going to use against someone?

I love how some enlightened liberals have no problem censoring those with whom they disagree.

G.K. Chesterton quotes:

“I want a Church that moves the world, not one that moves with it.”

“I often find myself in hot water but that way I stay clean.”

“Only a live fish can swim against the current, the dead go with it.”

Not picking up dog poo counts as terrorism, right? If so, PB is a goldmine of terroristic information and tactics.

Maybe he was the one watching us! Then, when he couldn't handle the open discussion, he went batsh*t crazy!

Default Us Plans Massive Data Sweep

While this system of Homeland Security's was stopped it does show that they had the interest. I think some people in our government are react in a paranoid manner and sometimes do things which are beyond the scope of the constitution and constitutional protections of the Bill of Rights. While this system was exposed for being too indiscriminate, data mining could now be turned over to another agency without any congressional oversight. The article repeats how little the elected officials knew about what they voted for in the "ADVISE" system.

US PLANS MASSIVE DATA SWEEP
Little-known data-collection system could troll news, blogs, even e-mails. Will it go too far?

US SUSPENDS VAST ADVISE DATA-SIFTING SYSTEM
The pilot programs ignored privacy safeguards, says a recent Homeland Security report.
