Exclamation Bush III?

President Bush appeared to have offered an early "endorsement" of his brother Jeb, for the White House in 08'...

ORLANDO, Fla. - Could there be a third President Bush? The current chief said Wednesday that younger brother Jeb would make a great one, too, and has asked him about making a run. The first President Bush likes the idea as well. Jeb Bush, the Republican governor of Florida, has one asset that his presidential brother doesn't right now ? approval from most of his constituents. While George W. Bush's approval ratings are in the low 30s, some 55 percent of Florida voters surveyed last month by Quinnipiac University said Jeb was doing a good job.

If there is one legacy I would like GWB to leave, it would be that we never vote for a Bush again. With the lowest approval rating of any president, EVER. I think this is one legacy he may actually leave.

No way this country elects another Bush. He or she could be a heady mixture of Ghandi, Washington, Lincoln, JFK, & Winston Churchill and still not be elected.

Then again, I thought W had no shot.

I would have to seriously debate leaving the country.

  • The "confidential" U.S. Energy policy that was not allowed to be discussed in public -- only front of Dick Chaney and power generation companies and Enron
  • Forcing the Secretary of the Treasury to quit
  • Lying about WMDs
  • Patriot Act II
  • Alienating the entire Hispanic population of the United States
  • FEMA/Katrina
  • Abramoff Lobbying Scandal
  • Gannon*
  • Launching a bogus "investigation" into the leaking of information concerning CIA Agent Valerie Plame, when it was discovered later that the leak CAME FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT'S OWN OFFICE via Karl Rove. This scam landed two reporters in jail for contempt of court (somehow Robert Novak escaped it without a scar), and the NYTimes reporter that was involved was in jail for weeks on end over the whole debaucle.
  • And now the outright lie from the Atty General that no domestic phone lugs are ever being pulled from Americans, when now it's recently (today) been discovered that every single person who has a phone that isn't serviced by Qwest has had its lugs pulled and sent off to the NSA's database FOR YEARS. This includes your cell phone.
Oh yeah, the Republican party has nothing to fear.

* The Gay "Prostitute" James Guckert, aka Jeff Gannon, who mysteriously wound up in the White House Press Corps asking some of the most dumb questions ever; then it found out a) he was never in the USMC like his gay bio claimed and b) he has a degree in PE from West Chester University. [psst I have his nekkid photos if anyone wants to see them, they're a scream! PM and I'll send you the link]
