Default Can Kerry Survive an Affair?

http://drudgereport.com/mattjk1.htm

Furthermore, now prepare for another 2 weeks of nobody talking about real issues. American politics are becoming a joke- even more so than in the past.

They talk about everything except actual issues. The joke isn't even funny any more. Why do you think participation is so low?

Sigh, if only shrub wasn't so ugly then he could have had some illicit afairs as well and this would be a non issue. My guess now is that Dean will be the one losing this year.

It's pretty dissapointing for a candidate to try to hide this from the American public. Most of us don't care but we know it can ruin a campaign and Kerry knows this better than most. I think he pretty much took the wind out of the democratic parties sails with this move.

Skroah, I think you are making too much of this BS. I predict it is gossip and a non issue.

Your probably right. Clark is supposedly backing Kerry now which is something I doubt he would do if the quote from him above is actually valid.

I expect this story to surface on all national news stations prior to President's Day. The Philly Daily news is already running the story re the 'rumor' reported by Drudge. One of only 2 papers in the country to do so.

You had to know something like this was coming. The Dems are playing real political hardball with Bush by stirring up all this BS re his stint / or lack thereof in National Guard. only a matter of time before the republican's begin to report on Kerry's skeletons.... We ALL have them!

It is at that time when this race will REALLY begin. Stay Tuned

Dan

Kerry will be pretty easy to beat even without this affair. I never liked Kerry he is Mr. Special Interest to the core. See stories about the big dig in Boston and how his campaign contributors made a loot fleecing the local residents on one of the most expensive highway construction jobs ever conceived http://www.usatoday.com/news/politic...erry-aig_x.htm

Here is how I would campaign against Kerry.

John Kerry volunteered to serve in the Vietnam War.
Upon returning from Vietnam, John Kerry portested against the Vietnam War and the soliders who were still fighting.
In 1991 then Senator John Kerry voted against sending troops to free Kuwait from Saddam Hussein.
In 1998 John Kerry votes to pass the Iraq Liberation Act and urges President Clinton to use military force against Saddam Hussein because of his failure to comply with UN resoultions and his continuing development of Weapons of Mass Destruction.
In early 2003 John Kerry votes to authorize the use of force in Iraq becaue of Iraq's failure to account for its WMD programs and Saddam Hussein's failure to comply with UN resolution 1441.
Later in 2003 John Kerry calls for a regime change in Washington, DC.
In 2004 John Kerry protests against operation Iraqi Freedom.

John Kerry he's consistently inconsistent...

If the alternative to Kerry is "W" then many will overlook the inconsistencies.

Many might, but I would also say that a majortiy will realize that we do not need a flip flopping special interest hound in the Whitehouse while we are in the most dangerous war of the history of this great country. I'm not a big Bush fan as I am a Democrat, and I was planning on voting for Joe Lieberman, but Kerry scares me and is way too partisan to be succesful in the White House.

I don't think we can afford 4 more years of Bush in the White House. His foreign policy is a disaster as is his domestic program. Bush is every bit as partisan as Kerry, plus he's in the wrong party (for me anyway).
