Have you tried a sign that says "no dogs please"? That may help . . .

BTW in my neighborhood, someone decided to put up barbed wire in an attempt to (I'm sure) keep dogs off of property.

Here's a tip: Bad idea. The liability that stems from that is unbelievable. And you can't rely on the "it's my property" argument because you're still creating a dangerous environment. The barbed wire is right on the border of the sidewalk, which is an easement by law. If some kid falls off of a bike into that barbed wire, there will be serious consequences.

That's not the same as putting a rose bush up or cayenne pepper. This is barbed wire that runs the length of the property. This isn't freaking Wyoming.

(So, if you're reading, remove the barbed wire!)

I once detailed on offenders car w/ his doggies excrement. Cost: $4.00 in those rubber gloves that go up to your elbows. Bend a piece of bread in half, bite down on it and breath through your mouth. Stops the gag reflex from the dookie smell.

Discretion pays big on this deed. Don't just go for the windshield or the hood, too obvious. Pay special attention to the door handles being vigilent to secure copious amounts of poop on the back of the door handles. Also, push some through the vents between the hood and the windshield. If you can reach under the car, secure a glob on the catalytic converter and the muffler. The heat will multiply the smell. Smear a little on the windshield wiper blades.

Good luck.

Default My solution

Before: Doggie poopie place

After: No more doggie poopie place

I have had lots of compliments on the wall, only one complaint. A woman actualy lamented, to mey wife, that she missed the favorite place for her dog to relieve herself.

I am stunned

That is awesome! I am so glad that you kept some greenery - the bushes and the tree look great. What a wonderful solution!
