Hi all -

I'm new to this forum. I'll be moving to Philadelphia in the fall -- lived in Center City in the mid-90s, then moved to the South for work for a while.

Anyway, I'm moving back to Philly and my girlfriend and I out of habit started looking at apartments in CC. A few postings on Craigslist about places in East Falls, however, got our attention.

What's Ferry Rd. like in particular? Is it safe? Is it an easy walk to the Regional Rail?

And how does East Falls compare with, say, Northern Liberties? (I used to live there, though I know it's gotten a little fancypants these days.)
