My wife and I looked at several units in Gypsy Lane a couple years ago. I also had friends living there when I was in college, so I already new it was a pretty decent place. The main thing that held us back from buying was the ridiculous condo association fees. It didn't seem like we would be getting much of a return on that money--it's not like they had anything that other gated condo communities weren't offering for much lower association fees. Basically it felt like they wanted us to pay a few hundred bucks a month on top of our mortgage just for a big fence and a tiny fitness room.
