Cabin Fever? Winter Blues got you down?

W. N. C. A.'s "Meet Your Neighbors Winter Party"

Great food and drink, your neighbors, an auction/raffle, karaoke, DJ,
and dancing . . . all included in this wonderful evening scheduled
for Sunday, February 27, 5 - 9 PM at Castle Roxx Cafe, 105 Shurs
Lane at Cresson Street.

Sponsored by Wissahickon Neighbors Civic Association, the menu
includes roast pork and meat ball sandwiches, peppers & sausage,
pasta, spring mix salad (for vegetarians), beer, soda, juice, and
homemade desserts.

An auction/raffle will feature many outstanding items from businesses
all over our area (a wristwatch valued at $150, a set of handy
homeowner tools, and much, much more).

Pre-event tickets are $20 for Adults and $5 for Children (to age 12).

W. N. C. A. volunteers are selling tickets door-to-door.

Seating is limited, so buy your tickets early.

Tickets at the door will be $25 for Adults and $5.50 for Children (to age 12).

Next Saturday I'll be at a beef n' beer at St. John's. Now that's a community event.

You're close, WNCA is Wisssahickon Neighbors Civic Association. Hey isn't it grand when we all get along?

What's the St. John's beef n' beer for?

I am trying to find that out myself. I said it was to raise money to buy St. John’s to keep it open, just joking. They are having a live band and beer, what else do you need.
