Default Place for a meet-up?

Howdy.

I haven't been out to Manayunk to "hang out" in quite some time. I have been out there to go to Cadence Cycling & Multisport, and the new place (to me) was the burritto place across the street. So, I don't know what many of the places are like out there anymore. What's improved/gotten worse/stayed the same...what's new? side streets?

I am meeting someone in a yet to be determined place in Manayunk. It's not a date, but more a "let's continue this conversation in person..." sorta thing. So, some place more appropriate than just coffee, but not a place with a thousand tv's to distract me and with jarring noise.

Can I get some reco's, please? She said that she likes Le Bus, but I've often dismissed the place (without having been there...yeah, yeah...!) as trendy, over priced, exaggerated, and not a good value. Would it fit the bill for this sorta get together though?

Danke!

Try Jake's- or Zesty's. They are both delicious, low key and have outdoor dining.

LeBus is not at all the way you assume it is. Its casual, the food is great, the bar is decent and its not expensive. It one of the better values on Main St.

Jake's is also very good, but more formal and more expensive. Derek's has a good (top shelf) bar and good small plate menu.
