Default Local dump?

Anyone know where I can get rid of some concrete and other debris that we dug out of our yard?

Somewhere close to Roxborough is preferred....thanks!

Probably at Domino Lane. Just don't go in there in any vehicle with a sign on it -- they will chase you away, assuming you are a contractor trying to dump stuff for free.

Be prepared to get turned away, even if your vehicle does not look like a contractor's. In the past year I have found it hit or miss regarding what they will allow you to dump. The last I tried, was last year, to get rid of old fence posts I dug up from my yard. They guy at Domino took a look and said he cannot let me dump the stuff, as it is construction debris, even though I was in my personal vehicle and showed him my ID showing I was a philly resident. It sucks, but it seems they assume everyone is a contractor trying to avoid disposal fees.

I have been taking debris to Richard Burns & Co at 4300 Rising Sun Ave, 19140. It costs $40/1000 lbs, I believe.

Maybe because I am a woman, I have never been turned away from the dump on Domino Lane. Maybe you need to send a female!
