Where are our pediatricians??
I am looking for information on the new offices of Dr. Charlene Brock. They used to be at the Andorra Shopping Center but I received a letter today saying that they are no longer there. Interesting because I previously called the office to schedule a checkup for my daughter with Dr.Brock, was given an appointment and NEVER told that I would not be seeing Dr. Brock. I called there today ad gave them a piece of my mind for letting me believe that I was making an appointment with Dr. Brock. Does anyone have any idea where I can find Dr. Brock. Anyone know about Dr. Barbara Cohen???

Pediatricians
I heard from the office and also from neighbor that Dr. Cohen retired. I think in April. I just found out. I'm not sure where and what Dr. Brock plans to do next. It sounds like the group that bought the practice is bringing in an entirely new staff of peds. I don't know what will be happening to the nursing staff. I don't think it the communications with patients has been handled very well. It sounds like things were out of the control of Dr. Cohen and Brock.

Dr. Brock is going to be opening a new office locally later this summer.

Wow, thanks for letting us know. My son has been seeing Dr Brock for almost 2 years since his absolutely wonderful ped, Dr Childs retired.
Thats kid of messed up that not all of the families know yet. Dr Cohen was fairly nice the time or two we saw her. Does anyone have any suggestions for someone really nice in case we need to change places? (Well, as long as they're not Dr Casher, my neices go to her and I cannot stand that woman)

Thanks for the info
My son went to Dr. Cohen and he really liked her. Fortunately, he is just at the age when he should be transitioning to an adult doctor so we can deal with her retirement. I wish her well.
On the other hand, I want my daughter to see Dr. Brock. She's absolutely wonderful. I hope she gets a new place soon.

Dr. Brock will be set up in her new office some time in August. She's not allowed to give any info to patients until July 1st and she's not allowed to contact them. She'll get the word out when she's set up. I imagine she'll advertise locally.
I had to schedule an appt for 3 weeks anyway. I have no idea who's going to be there but I prefer not to have to deal with transferring records twice.

Kids First
I just switched to Kids First on Umbria and see Dr. Klock- so far I really like her, I previously saw Dr. Brock and did not really connect with her. She always seemed like she was in a fog and always forget my son's name.

Thanks OldMama for passing along the information about Dr. Brock's new practice. I will definitely keep an eye and ear out for word about how to contact her for an appointment but if you hear of anything it would be very much appreciated if you could post it. Thanks again!!

A little birdie told me that Brock's new practice will open at the old Hager/Weiss office on Lyceum Avenue (just off of Ridge, near the new Citizens Bank). It is scheduled to open around(ish) August 1. If I hear more, I will surely pass it along.
