Was it just me or was the race a lot more subdued this year? I'm blaming it on the heat but overall, the crowds seemed smaller and the noise levels seemed much lower.

I was there all day. It was hot, hot, hot! There were fewer people there, especially on Main St. and I think it was the heat. I'm sure some of those people who were drinking beer in that heat regret it today.

We usually have people trying to park on both sides of our street (and therefore on my sidewalk) but we didn't have that this year. Not that I'm complaining...
